This policy outlines the procedures, conditions, and eligibility requirements governing the return, replacement, exchange, and subsequent refund of merchandise purchased through the Jewel Jingles website (“the Site”).

1. 15-Day Inspection Period

Jewel Jingles offers its customers an exclusive fifteen (15) calendar day inspection period, commencing from the confirmed date of delivery, during which a return, replacement, or exchange request for eligible merchandise may be initiated.

2. Conditions for Eligible Returns

All merchandise submitted for return, exchange, or refund must strictly adhere to the following stipulated criteria:

  • Timely Request: The formal request must be communicated to Jewel Jingles within the 7-day inspection period.
  • Merchandise Condition: The item must be received by us in its original, pristine, and resalable condition. This includes being unworn, unaltered, free of scratches, blemishes, or any signs of use or damage.
  • Original Accoutrements: The return package must include all original components:
    • The Original Invoice/Proof of Purchase.
    • The Original Product Certificate (if applicable to diamonds/gemstones). Failure to return the certificate will result in a mandatory recertification fee, which will be deducted from the final refund amount.
    • All original packaging, tags, and promotional materials.
  • Unauthorized Alteration: Any merchandise that has been resized, repaired, or modified by any entity other than Jewel Jingles is strictly ineligible for return.

3. Non-Returnable Merchandise (Final Sale)

For reasons including customization and public health standards, the following categories of merchandise are classified as Final Sale and are exempt from the 15-day policy:

  • Custom and Personalized Orders: Items designed, engraved, or modified to the client’s unique specifications.
  • Piercing Jewellery: Earrings and similar merchandise for body piercing, due to stringent hygiene regulations.
  • Promotional Items: Items marked as “Non-Refundable,” “Clearance,” or purchased using store credit/gift cards.

4. Policy for Replacement and Exchange

Jewel Jingles permits the exchange of merchandise for another item of equivalent or greater value, or a direct replacement for defective goods, subject to stock availability and adherence to the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 2.

  • Exchange for Different Item: If the client opts for an exchange for an item of higher value, the client is responsible for paying the price difference. If the exchange is for an item of lower value, the difference will be refunded to the client’s original payment method, subject to the QA process.
  • Replacements for Defects: Replacements are provided solely for merchandise that is verified by our team to be defective or damaged upon arrival. The replacement will be the exact same product originally ordered, subject to verification criteria in Section 6.
  • Processing Time: Replacements and exchanges are shipped and delivered within 7-10 Business Days after successful completion of the QA inspection.

5. Procedure for Return Authorization

To formally initiate a return, replacement, or exchange, clients must follow the procedure outlined below:

  1. Notification: The client must notify Jewel Jingles via email at support@jeweljingles.com or by telephone at +91 72591 51555. The notification must include the Order Number and the specific purpose of the request (Return, Replacement, or Exchange).
  2. Return Authorization Number (RAN): Upon review, Jewel Jingles will issue a unique Return Authorization Number (RAN) and provide detailed instructions for the return shipment. Requests lacking a valid RAN will be rejected.
  3. Secure Shipment: For approved requests within India, Jewel Jingles will typically arrange for a complimentary reverse secure pickup. The client must ensure the merchandise is packed securely with the RAN clearly marked on the external packaging.

6. Quality Assurance and Refund Disbursement

Upon receipt of the returned merchandise at our facility (Panchamatra Road, Kuvempu Nagar, Mysore – 570023):

  • Mandatory QA Inspection: All returns undergo a rigorous Quality Assurance inspection by our technical team to verify condition and adherence to Section 2 criteria.
  • Rejection: If the merchandise fails the QA inspection, it will be deemed ineligible for refund, replacement, or exchange, and the item will be shipped back to the client at their expense.
  • Refund Initiation: If the merchandise passes QA, the refund process will be initiated within 7 to 10 Business Days.
  • Method of Refund: Refunds will be processed exclusively to the original form of payment.

7. Damages, Defects, and Discrepancies

Claims concerning merchandise damaged upon arrival, exhibiting manufacturing defects, or discrepancies in the order must be reported to Jewel Jingles within twenty-four (24) hours of documented delivery time.

  • Verification Requirement: Jewel Jingles reserves the right to request photographic or video evidence, including a continuous, unedited video recording of the package opening, to substantiate claims of transit damage or missing components.
